Huntersville family guide

Your first indoor-play visit.
Little socks. Big adventure.

A first indoor-play visit is easier when everyone knows what to expect. Use this guide to plan ahead for KidzNova’s Spring 2027 opening in Huntersville.

The fun is on its way. KidzNova is not open for visits yet. Join the Fun List for opening announcements and confirm current policies before you travel.

Pack for movement

Choose comfortable clothes children can climb, crawl and sit in. Bring the required grip socks, and check whether existing pairs meet the venue’s rules. A spare outfit can help with younger children.

KidzNova’s parent essentials explain sock and food policies. Adults entering play areas must wear socks too. Check the latest information before packing snacks or other outside food.

Plan who supervises

Decide which adult will supervise in the play area and how you will manage siblings with different interests. The first two adults per family are free under KidzNova’s planned admission policy; additional adults are $7 each.

Only one supervising adult per family may enter the play areas at a time. Other adults use the seating or café areas. Additional adult admission does not allow extra adults into the play areas simultaneously. Check current admission details before visiting.

Start with your child’s pace

Look through the planned play zones together. Younger explorers can start with Little Nebula, while older children may be interested in slides, climbing and creative play. Follow each zone’s posted age and use guidance when the facility opens.

Build in a drink or café break and leave room for a gradual introduction. If your family needs a particular accommodation, contact the team before visiting rather than assuming a feature or service is available.

Choose family play or drop-off

Open play and Freedom Drop-Off are different services. Freedom Drop-Off is planned for ages 5–12. Program availability, operating requirements and final details will be confirmed before enrollment opens. Interest inquiries only; enrollment and reservations are not open.

See planned drop-off information for updates. We plan secure check-in, authorized pickup and team-monitored cameras, with no parent livestream.

Small explorer. Big sibling. One family plan.

Bringing a toddler and an older child? Start with their ages, then plan how you will stay together. Little Nebula is planned for ages 6 months–3 years; Nova Fortress and Giant Slides are planned for ages 3–12. These are activity guides, not a promise that every activity suits every child.

With one supervising adult per family in the play areas at a time, choose activities you can supervise together. If your children want to split into different zones, ask the team about a workable arrangement before visiting. Family-play admission does not include individual staff supervision or drop-off care.

For example, a family with an eight-month-old and a five-year-old can enter both ages in the visit planner and select the sibling option. Under the planned admission policy, a baby aged 6–11 months is free with a paid sibling admission. The planner also accounts for attending adults and any new grip socks.

Build your family’s visit estimate

Your small-but-mighty packing list

  • Grip socks for the children: bring reusable pairs or include new pairs in your estimate. Adults entering play areas need socks too.
  • Comfortable clothes: pick outfits for climbing and crawling; pack a spare change for younger explorers.
  • Your questions: discuss dietary or access needs with the team before you travel. Outside food and beverages are generally not permitted. Please contact our team about medical or disability-related dietary accommodations.
  • Check-in preparation: online waivers will be available closer to opening. Check the final instructions before your visit.

A visit that fits your day

Choose your visit type before comparing prices. Regular family play, a birthday party and supervised drop-off have different schedules and supervision arrangements.

Birthday celebrations have a 90-minute total visit, including play and party-room time. Do not add the ordinary open-play session length to a party booking.

For family play, use the visit estimator to compare the published options for your children’s ages, adults and socks. Its total is a planning estimate, not a reservation or a confirmed price.

Planning with another adult? The planner’s Copy Short Plan Link lets you share the selected options. Review its privacy note before sharing.
