A great birthday plan starts with the children you’re inviting and the kind of celebration they’ll enjoy. This checklist helps Huntersville and Lake Norman families organize the details before choosing a package.
1. Count the whole crew
Write down children and adults separately, including the birthday child. Note siblings who may attend and tell the venue about any access needs before choosing a room.
The listed KidzNova packages include 10 children with Nova Bash, 25 with Supernova, and 40 with Galactic Buyout. Included children are not the same as maximum attendance. The birthday child counts toward both totals. Extra children cost more; the current estimator supports up to 20, 40 and 70 children respectively. Room allocation, adult attendance and availability need confirmation. Compare the current party packages and estimate your full child count before choosing a package.
2. Make the timing clear
Ask whether a venue’s advertised duration means room time or the entire visit. Include arrival, play, food and goodbyes when planning the celebration.
KidzNova parties last 90 minutes total, with play and party-room time included within those 90 minutes. Discuss the sequence with the team before putting times on invitations. The cleanup gap is for the team after your celebration.
3. Confirm food and essentials
Ask how much food and drink is included, who it serves, and what is available for adults. Check cake arrangements and dietary needs directly before bringing anything from outside.
Nova Bash lists pizza and drinks from Nova Café, plates, cups and napkins, plus setup and cleanup. Confirm quantities in your proposal. Themed décor is an upgrade; a supplies inclusion does not mean a custom theme or balloon arrangement is included.
4. Pick the extras that matter
Start with one priority: a coordinated theme, photos of the celebration, or a character appearance. Ask what coverage or performance duration is included, and how it fits within the party.
Use the party estimate tool to explore choices, then ask the team to confirm vendor availability, taxes, extra guests and custom requirements. An estimate is not a reservation.
Before you send invitations
- Get the date, start time, end time and location confirmed.
- Confirm the child count and adult allowance for your package.
- Ask about grip socks, waivers and supervision expectations.
- Include an RSVP deadline and a way to share dietary or access questions.
- Keep your final package details and cancellation terms.
